Compared to last year, I’ve been Facebook-bashing considerably less of late so when I came across this gem earlier, it was an obvious ‘must post’. Enjoy.
So, here's the thing: I really do not have a Facebook account ...strange though it might seem :-) I think I registered my email address for it back in 2006 or so, but never went on to develop a profile.
I was very anti social networking in the last 3 years or so but my feelings have mellowed somewhat in recent months. So will I admit defeat and finally sign up to Facebook? Who knows? :p
I wouldn't say I'm a fan but I can get really really addicted to Facebook, especially when I'm bored. But I must admit the guy is correct. Everyone is sorta starting to learn that Facebook also has ears now so they can't be as open/up front about things anymore as you never know who, from your friends, is watching your profile.
There have been times when I've been tempted, I must say. But I've successfully resisted temptation thus far. I'm probably too contrary for my own good and that's all that's stopping me from going for it.
Poonam: I like the way you described people finally learning that 'facebook has ears'. Definitely true. Though, I'd probably argue that its 'mouth' is the biggest problem..
You know, sometimes I wonder if you have a secret facebook profile
ReplyDeleteHehe... I knew you'd make some kind of comment like this Andro! :-p
ReplyDeleteYou were asking foir it! :P
ReplyDeleteI have to say I do wonder the same as Andro...someone with such an obsession for facebook must have a profile :p
ReplyDeleteYou're right: I was asking for it! :)

But I doubt it.
